Hilton Opens New Rockville Real Estate

The Village Center, which is a 150,000 Square feet, is home to major retailers, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as other beneficial community retail services. Some of the shops you will find in this development are Safeway, Chipotle, Mamma Lucia, FedEx Kinko’s, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Cheeburger Cheeburger, Wing stop, Smoothie King, as well as many other vendors.   With all of these amenities and the location of this development, it is not a big surprise that Hilton has chosen this area for their next development.

Development on this new Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton broke ground in 2008, and is scheduled to be open in Fall of 2009. Hilton’s new development will be located on Shady Grove and Blackwell Roads just west of Interstate 270.  Hilton is one of the most prestigious and recognized names in the global lodging market.  This new Hilton will be a total of 199 rooms with 112 of the rooms being for the Garden Inn and the remaining 87 rooms will be the Homewood Suites.  This new hotel will be six stories and roughly 135,000 square feet.
