Are you considering one of the many homes in Montgomery County, and if so have you considered the Maryland homes at Park Potomac in Potomac Maryland.  This Montgomery County real estate is located just off of Interstate 270  at Montrose Road.  The developers planned Park Potomac to be a master-planned community; it is surrounded by many features for its residents and visitors to enjoy.  Those that are contemplating looking at the Montgomery County homes for sale in Park Potomac will have a choice between living in the North or South high-rise towers that is known as Park Potomac Place, or there are also the elegant brownstone homes known as the Brownstones at Park Potomac.  Currently there are 150 brownstones, and roughly the same amount of condos in the high rise building.  There are also plans to add around 300 more residential units along with 4 more office buildings, and a total of 140,000 square feet of retail space.

The developers of this project had a vision to create vibrant live work community, and this vision has almost come to be.  This is seen by how Park Potomac already does not just offer residential real estate, but it also offers class A office space as well as retail space.    One company that has already begun their venture at one of the already existing office buildings is the Shulman Rogers Law firm, and a Harris Teeter Grocery store is predicted to be moving into another one of the commercial spots  in January.  Other retailers that will be located in this development include Wine Harvest, Eagle Bank, Zoe’s Kitchen, and Emily Grace, an upscale boutique.  There are also plans for a Kimpton Hotel, which will consist of 175 rooms; and this would be the first Kimpton Hotel to open up in Montgomery County.  Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant is the first and also the leading collection of boutique hotels, and is based out of San Francisco.  Kimpton was founded in 1981 by Bill Kimpton, all of there hotels feature personalized guest services, comforting in room amenities, specialty rooms and suites, and restaurants.  Also an interesting fact about this hotel company is that it leads the hospitality industry in ecological practices through there innovative EarthCare programs.

As you may be able to tell, the developers of this project intended on creating a unique housing development that would become a community where neighbors would be able to interact with each other extensively.  To aid in this, the development will also have a plaza that will connect the residential area to the commercial area.
