The Maryland State House which is located in Annapolis will be going through renovation. Currently the Maryland state House is the oldest state house that is still in active use by the government. This is the first major renovation that this piece of real estate has seen in over 100 years. Currently the renovation of the State House is estimated to roughly cost $8.4 million. This renovation calls for a updating of the plumbing system, revamping visitor meeting space, the old Senate Chamber being restored, and the old House of Delegates Chamber will be rebuilt. This will be done by removing the wall that separates the Calvert and The Maryland Silver Room on the main floor of this historical site.
