For the past twenty-seven years on the second Sunday in September this neighborhood hosts an event that is known as Adams Morgan Day. This year on September 11th, this festival celebrated its 27th anniversary. At this years festival local businesses including restaurants, retail stores, and entertainment locations filled the streets with there booths.

If you are not familiar with the roads in the District you can rely on public transportation to get you here. There are two different metro stations located nearby. You can take the Redline to Woodley Park- Zoo/ Adams Morgan, or you can take the green line to the Columbia Heights stop.
